Steps:
Add enough syrup to coat the bottom of an Old Fashioned glass. Add 2-3 dashes of bitters (dashes, not drops). Add the rum. Swirl the glass to blend the contents. Add a large clear chunk of ice. Express an orange peel over the top of the glass and place into the drink.
