The Art of Crafting Signature Cocktails: A Mixologist's Guide

The Beach Boys Mike Love To Launch San Diego-Based Spirits Brand

The Beach Boys co-founder and longtime San Diego resident Mike Love has partnered with a local distillery to produce Club Kokomo Spirits, a new canned cocktail brand named after the hit song.

Beach Boys singer & songwriter Mike Love has purchased a majority interest in San Diego-based Seven Caves Spirits, which was founded in Miramar in 2016 by distiller Geoff Longnecker. The duo's partnership began earlier this year when Seven Caves produced a lineup of canned cocktails for a cruise celebrating the 60th anniversary of The Beach Boys.
Club Kokomo aims to offer "vacation in a can" with a lineup of tropical-themed cocktails made with Seven Caves rum and gin. Made with natural juice, flavors and sugar, each cocktail is also gluten free and features over 10% alcohol by volume. Flavors soon to be available around the country in 4-packs include Kokomojito, a version of a classic Mojito; Afternoon deligith with citrus, maple, ginger and allspice, Excitation with gin and notes of black cherry, passionfruit and citrus; and Mystique, with rum, guava, lychee and jasmine tea. Club Kokomo will also produce a lineup of aged spiced rums.

Club Kokomo Spirits is located at 7950 Stromesa Court in San Diego's Miramar. For more information, visit clubkokomospirits.com.
