Our demerara base is distilled in San Diego on our hybrid column still — smooth, honeyed, with clean tropical fruit notes. On its own, it's a beautiful sipping rum. But we wanted more character.
The result is a white rum with the body and structure of demerara, and the bright pineapple-melon-mango top notes that make pot still rum unmistakable. Bottled by hand, additive-free.

Club Kokomo Spirits was launched this year by Brian Love and his father, Mike Love, one of the founders of the Beach Boys. Their initial release of three rums has turned heads in the awards circuit. Perhaps none more than their Artisanal White Rum, which took home a Double Gold Medal and was named a Best in Class White Rum Finalist at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC). A demerara cane sugar rum made in San Diego, it's perfect for cocktails or sipping neat.
A clean but interesting rum with some fruit and pleasant funk notes. I'm not a huge white rum sipper in general but I enjoy in a mojito. Whether neat or in a drink it's a perfect vessel for cruising to your own personal Kokomo.

As it opens up, more sweetness kicks in with notes of pastry sugar, a touch of vanilla and a minerality that adds a sense of terroir.
