Light vanilla bean perfume with a dark and introspective character. On the tongue, there is very little sweetness, only a round and somewhat woody tone of vanilla. The mouthfeel is light, with a somewhat tannic quality. The finish is medium-long and ends on a slightly bitter note on the back of the palate.
TahitianVanilla Rum
The Base Rum
Tahitian Vanilla begins with our award-winning Artisanal White Rum — the same demerara + Jamaican pot still blend that won Best White Rum of 2024 from the Beverage Testing Institute.
Rather than infuse a lesser rum with vanilla, we start with our best. We then proof down to 80 for a softer experience.
Steeping Process
We macerate whole, ripe Tahitian vanilla beans — not extract, not paste — letting them rest inside batches of Artisanal in San Diego. Our proprietary steeping process is monitored by our master distiller batch by batch until the profile lands exactly where we want it.
No added sugars, no artificial flavoring. Just rum and real vanilla, slow-steeped and hand-bottled.
How to Serve
Neat over ice with an orange twist — the vanilla and citrus are made for each other.
Or lead with cream and tropical fruit: an elevated Piña Colada, a coconut-vanilla old fashioned, a coffee-forward espresso martini. Anywhere you'd normally reach for a vanilla liqueur, use this instead and skip the sugar.

Real vanilla.
No shortcuts.
Most vanilla rums lean on extract, artificial flavoring, and added sugar. Ours doesn't. Whole Tahitian vanilla beans rest inside our award-winning Artisanal White until the profile is right — and then we bottle.

Nine out of ten 'vanilla rums' on the shelf are the same story: a cheap neutral rum, vanilla extract, sugar, and food coloring. Bottled fast, priced to move.
We started from the opposite end. If you're going to put your name on a vanilla rum, start with a rum worth naming. Ours begins with the same Artisanal White that won Best White Rum of 2024 from the Beverage Testing Institute.
The result is a rum that carries the feeling of a warm afternoon in French Polynesia — soft, aromatic, cream-forward. Because we use real whole beans instead of extract or paste, the vanilla lands as a subtle, delicate hint rather than a sugary rush — a whisper of toasted coconut and warm spice woven into real rum character underneath. No added sugar, no artificial flavor, no color adjusters.
Built for golden hour.
Tahitian Vanilla plays beautifully with cream, coconut, coffee, and citrus. Anywhere you'd normally use vanilla liqueur — but without the syrupy sweetness. Think pornstar, espresso or key lime martinis, or simply pair with a soda.

Tahitian Vanilla Rum was better than I expected — not being a fan of flavored rums. It's dry, not sweet, and the vanilla is subtle.
